Privacy notice
Updated October 10, 2026. Happy Hour 2.0 is preparing for internal testing. This notice distinguishes this public landing website from companion app features that process information during testing and, when enabled, the service.
This website
This static landing website does not offer accounts, collect form submissions, save launch-list entries, request your location or embed advertising trackers or third-party social widgets. Its hosting provider may process ordinary connection and security records such as IP addresses and request times to serve and protect the website. Fonts and visual assets are served locally; there are no third-party analytics scripts on these pages.
Optional website analytics
When an analytics collector is enabled, we ask before collecting optional first-party website analytics. Allow analytics and Decline have equal prominence. You can use the website with analytics off and change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals. When a collector is not enabled, we collect no analytics events or visitor identifiers; the preferences panel explains this state.
After you allow analytics, measurements may include the page route, time, named link and button actions, qualified section views, scroll milestones, active time, page performance and generic error codes. They include random visitor, session and page identifiers, a release identifier, referrer hostname, limited campaign tags, viewport dimensions, device category, browser language, timezone offset and broad connection category where supported. We do not collect page text, names, email addresses, passwords, form field contents, full referral or link URLs, precise location, error messages or stack traces. There are currently no forms on this landing website. Future annotated forms may measure start, submit and success or error status without their contents.
Your analytics choice and visitor identifier expire within 90 days. Sessions roll over after 30 minutes of inactivity. Unsent events are kept locally for up to 48 hours, with a maximum of 200 events, and retried using random event IDs so acknowledgements can be deduplicated. The collector defaults to deleting event records after 90 days; retention changes require updating this notice. Declining or withdrawing consent stops collection and clears local analytics identifiers and queued events. Previously received records expire under the collector's retention policy. Analytics consent does not control the ordinary hosting and security records described above.
Information used by the companion app
Account information helps you sign in and manage activity. With your permission, location is used to discover nearby venues and check whether a review is submitted near the place visited. App features process reviews, ratings, media, receipts, requests you send us and service activity needed to operate and secure Happy Hour. Not every planned feature is available during internal testing.
Reviews, receipts and media
A published review and its approved text, audio or video can be seen by other users. Receipts and location evidence are private and used for visit verification, fraud review and eligible rewards. Unapproved media is not part of the public review feed or licensed dataset. Remove payment details and other people's personal information before uploading a receipt or recording.
Location and fraud checks
Nearby checks use a recent location reading and its reported accuracy. Location evidence, duplicate submissions, receipt reuse and other integrity signals help evaluate reviews. These checks can make mistakes; you may request review of a decision. No location or automated check can detect every fraudulent or AI-generated submission.
Licensed data
Licensed data products are being prepared around public venue and offer records, historical observations and eligible aggregate insights. They do not provide raw user profiles, contact information, precise location histories, private receipts or pending uploads. The current insights implementation requires at least 10 distinct qualifying members in a group; smaller cohorts are suppressed. Commercial access is not enabled by this website.
How information is shared
Service providers may process information for hosting, authentication, storage and features you use. Reviews are shared when approved for publication. Information may also be used or disclosed to protect the service, respond to valid legal obligations or resolve disputes. Paying for promotion does not provide access to an individual customer's private receipt or location evidence.
Inquiries and launch updates
This website does not collect launch-list signups. If you contact Evan and Sam through an enabled email channel, we use your message and contact details to respond. A support or commercial inquiry does not authorize unrelated marketing. Availability updates require separate consent if introduced.
Choices and retention
You may deny location permission, although nearby verification then cannot work. The app includes account-deletion controls. You may request deletion, correction, access to your information or review removal using the contact channel below. Information is retained while needed to provide the service, handle a request or address fraud and legal obligations. Deleted or restricted content is not available for downstream reuse. An account request may require identity confirmation.
Contact
See our contact and privacy-request information. Include enough detail to identify your request, but do not send passwords, full payment card details or identity documents. Internal beta testers can also use their invitation contact.
